The TT models are all-new. Both models are available with a 200 hp 2.0T FSI engine mated to a six-speed S tronic double-clutch automatic gearbox, or a 250 hp 3.2-liter V6 engine with quattro all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual. A six-speed S tronic gearbox is optional on 3.2 models. TT highlights include: Third-generation Audi Space Frame (ASF) technology combining aluminum and steel in the chassis, helps reduce weight and improve weight distribution, allowing for more dynamic handling; 2008 models are 5 in. longer, and 3 in. wider than the previous model, allowing for a more aggressive stance and improved interior space.
