Cadillac CTS /CTS-V

The CTS Coupe is a new luxury sports coupe designed to become the centerpiece of the brand's revised lineup. The Coupe joins the CTS Sport Sedan, the 556- horsepower CTS-V and new CTS Sport Wagon as the foundation of Cadillac's lineup. The CTS Coupe is powered by a 3.6-liter direct injected V6 rated at 304 horsepower. The high-performance CTS-V Coupe receives the same, 556-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V8 found in the landmark CTS-V Sport Sedan. The coupe has the same wheelbase as the CTS Sport Sedan, but an overall height that is approximately two inches lower and an overall length that is two inches shorter. The CTS Sport Sedan's signature exterior cues include vertically oriented "light pipes," horizontal spline lines and a dihedral-shaped hood - characteristic elements of Cadillac's Art & Science design language that have helped reinvent the brand in the 21st century. A 3.0-liter V6 is the standard engine and is rated at 270 horsepower. Along with direct injection technology, the 3.0L engine employs variable valve timing to optimize power and fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. A 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 304 horsepower is available. Both engines balance performance and efficiency while operating on regular unleaded gas - many competitors to the CTS require premium fuel. Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmissions back both engines. The CTS-V Sport Sedan has quickly established itself among the world's highest performing luxury sedans, becoming the first production four -door on street tires to break the legendary eight-minute barrier at Germany's famed Nrburgring. It is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that delivers 556 horsepower and is backed by either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. A suite of technical and performance elements complement the powertrain, including Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tires mounted on 19-inch forged aluminum wheels. In its second production year, a high-performance V-Series joins the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon lineup. It combines the performance and luxury of the landmark CTS-V Sport Sedan with the dramatic design of the CTS Sport Wagon. Like its sedan and coupe stable mates, the CTS-V Sport Wagon is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, which delivers 556 horsepower and is backed by either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. A suite of technical and performance elements complement the powertrain, including Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tires mounted on 19-inch forged aluminum wheels.
