Avenger also is the Dodge brand's first mid-size car to offer all-wheel-drive capability combined with a sport-tuned suspension, performance steering and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with traction control, all of which combine to give Avenger its on-road performance attitude. Avenger's all-wheel-drive system works on demand, driving only the front wheels until power to the rear wheels is needed.
