Introduced last year, the Acadia debuted as GMC's first foray into the crossover market, offering seating for up to eight and combining the capability of an SUV with a smooth ride and responsive handling. Acadia is offered in SLE and SLT trims, with front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. A comprehensive safety system includes six standard air bags and standard StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with rollover mitigation technology.

Responsive performance in all models is derived from GM's 3.6-liter V6 VVT, rated at 275 horsepower. The engine is backed by a fuel-saving six-speed automatic transmission.
