Following a number of exterior and refinements last year, the FX performance crossover receives additional enhancements for the 2013 model year – lead by the addition of a 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6. Now named the FX37, it is joined by the FX50 AWD, which once again features a standard 390-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 and Infiniti Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
The other major enhancement for the new model year is the addition of the advanced Moving Objection Detection (MOD) to the Around View® Monitor system (standard on FX50, optional on FX37). Moving Object Detection builds on the capabilities of the AVM system, which shows the driver a virtual 360-degree image of the area around the vehicle.
