The XF embodies the brand's long sport sedan heritage, which began with the original Jaguar Mk. II sedan in 1959. The XF received a major design revision for 2012, which more closely aligned it with the new-generation XJ design. For 2013, the XF introduces two new forced-induction powertrains, a new ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and the new Instinctive All-Wheel Drive™ system. The XF includes such Jaguar signature "surprise and delight" elements as the JaguarDrive Selector that rises from the center console and air vents that rotate to their open position when the start button is pressed.
