The Cayman is a hardtop sports car coupe that shares much of its underpinnings with the Porsche Boxster roadster, though the coupe benefits from an even stiffer body thanks to the structural enhancement of having a fixed roof. Thus the Cayman is able to expand on the Boxster's now legendary dynamic capability.

Like the Boxster, the Cayman draws its power from a new 2.7-liter horizontally opposed "boxer" six-cylinder engine that pumps out 245-horsepower.
