Bonafide Ford freak! I've always loved the early Mustangs & refound my love for Mustangs when the "retro" came out in 2005. While it was fun to admire them from afar, it all fell apart when I rented an '06. I blubbered like a 4 year old with wet pants when I had to return it. My husband surprised me with the beauty seen in the pictures. She may not be a GT or a 500 or a KR (golly, I want one sooooo bad), but she hustles & turns heads. She has quite a fan club & it's cool to let folks check her out. If looking for a bargain on any Ford & you're able to come to the southwestern region of NJ, I highly suggest dealing with the fine folks of Echelon Ford of Stratford, NJ. They are the coolest & most helpful dealership I've ever dealt with, from the salesfolks to the mechanics, they're all great people & will work with you, not give you the cold shoulder that some dealerships are known for.
As for my baby, she's your standard 4.0 L, V6 Mustang, she's getting a new K&R;57 Series FIPK to put a little more kick in her horsepower. As you can see in the pictures, she has an awesome set of racing stripes, done aftermarket & painted on for a little more personality. She has a black leather interior & has the chrome instrument & air handler option. She has a remote start, to get roasty-toasty in the winter, & to cool down in the summer. She's also get a mega-security package, including the Ford optionals & LoJack. The windows, except for the windshield, are all legally tinted. She has the standard 500 watt, 6 CD Shaker stereo system with an old XM Mi-Fi, so I can "linger longer" with O&A;, as well as to avoid the awful terrestrial radio. I've pondered adding some mods, even a simple chromed grill, but I just can't bring myself to do it, as I feel she is perfect just the way she is. However, I do want to eliminate the "MUSTANG" on the sides & have just the striping, as it was quite obvious she's a Mustang & I prefer less "cheez." I love jabbering with other Mustang owners & fans, so if you see us in your 'hood or along side us on the highway (mostly in the southern NJ -Philly- Delaware area, but we do get up in the NYC are once in a while) give us a shout out & say hi.
