Lamborghini at the 2025 New York International Auto Show: Electrified Fury Meets Italian Craft

Lamborghini, renowned for its relentless pursuit of speed, power, and luxury, is bringing its electrifying future to the 2025 New York International Auto Show with two groundbreaking vehicles that combine the brand’s iconic performance with cutting-edge hybrid technology. At the heart of Lamborghini’s exhibit is the Revuelto, the brand’s first-ever high-performance electrified supercar. Equipped with a monstrous 6.5-liter V12 engine paired with three electric motors, the Revuelto delivers a staggering 1,001 horsepower, making it one of the most potent supercars ever produced. This hybrid powerhouse can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, showcasing Lamborghini’s signature blend of blistering speed, futuristic innovation, and unmistakable design. The Revuelto’s performance is complemented by a dynamic, aggressive design, with sharp lines and an aerodynamically optimized body, making it a true reflection of Lamborghini’s philosophy: performance is an art.

But Lamborghini isn’t stopping at electrified supercars. Also making its debut at the show is the Urus SE, Lamborghini’s first-ever plug-in hybrid SUV. This bold new entry into the world of luxury performance SUVs is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, working in unison with an electric motor to produce a total of 789 horsepower. As the most powerful Urus ever created, the Urus SE takes SUV performance to new heights, blending Lamborghini’s signature power with the efficiency and sustainability of hybrid technology. The Urus SE offers unmatched power and precision, while the plug-in hybrid system allows for a greener and more efficient driving experience—without compromising on the excitement that Lamborghini is known for.

Lamborghini’s entry into the electrified age marks a turning point for the brand, merging its storied legacy of high-octane performance with the future of automotive technology. The Revuelto and Urus SE are the embodiment of this fusion—louder, faster, and greener than ever before.

Fun Fact: Lamborghini was originally founded as a manufacturer of tractors in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini, an agricultural machinery mogul. Legend has it that Ferruccio Lamborghini’s dissatisfaction with his Ferrari led him to create his own line of supercars, a move that forever changed the high-performance car world. Today, Lamborghini continues to redefine the boundaries of speed, style, and power, solidifying its reputation as one of the world’s most coveted luxury automakers.
