** Level 4 Marketplace opens on Saturday, April 19 at 10am.
Monday – Saturday: 10am-10pm
Sundays: 10am-7pm
We are open on Easter Sunday!
Is the Auto Show open to the general public?
Yes, we are open to the public Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 27, 2025 (including Easter Sunday)
When and where is the opening ceremony?
The opening day ceremony and ribbon cutting is held the first Saturday of the show.
Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 8:30 am-10:00 am.

What are the dates for the 2026 New York Auto Show?
Friday, 3 to Sunday April 12, 2026
Will I be allowed into the show with my service animal?
Yes, ADA Certified Service Animals are permitted inside the Javits Center.
Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the animal, require that it demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person’s disability.
In situations where it is not obvious that a dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) Is the dog or other animal a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) Has it been trained to perform a specific function? (source: ada.gov)
Will I be allowed into the show with my Emotional Support Animal?
Only ADA Certified Service Animals are permitted inside the Javits Center.
Although emotional support animals and/or comfort animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not service animals and therefore are not permitted in the Javits Center. (source: javitscenter.com)
Are pets allowed inside the Javits Center?
Pets are not allowed inside the Javits Center.
Only ADA Certified Service Animals are allowed into the Javits Center.
Can I purchase a car at the Auto Show?
Although you cannot purchase a car at the Auto Show, take advantage of your time to speak with knowledgeable product specialist, researching and comparing vehicle brands, obtain information then visit your local dealership to make your purchase.

Will I be allowed to sit inside vehicles?
Most exhibits will allow attendees to enter and try out their vehicles.
There are vehicles that are concepts, exotic displays that may not be accessible.
Is there an age requirement for the EV Ride & Drive?
Age & Height Requirements: You must be at least 8 years of age AND at least 44″ tall to participate in the EV Test Track.
All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Vehicles are not equipped with child safety seating.
NOTE: EV Test Track manufacturers reserve the right to close their queues prior to posted closing times to process participants within scheduled operating hours.
Is the Javits Center a smoke-free facility?
Yes, the Javits Center is a smoke-free facility. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping pens are prohibited in all areas including the covered portion of the inner roadway.

What are the Security Protocols?
There are guards throughout the show and all individuals must pass a metal detector at the entrance.
Please do not bring knives, pocketknives, box cutters, any other metal items that may be considered dangerous, or personal items of sentimental value. All confiscated items will be handed over to the NYPD 10th Precinct.

What is the ticket price?
General Admission
- Adult Admission, ages 13 & over: $22
- Child Admission, ages 3-12 years old: $8
- Children 2 years & under, with a paid adult: $0

What is the price for Group Tickets?
General Admission – Discounted Group Tickets
- Adult Admission, ages 13 & over: $18 – with the purchase of 20 or more tickets.
- Child Admission, ages 3-12 years old: $5 – with the purchase of 10 or more tickets with Adult Chaperones.*
- Children 2 years & under, with a paid adult: $0
*Adult chaperones must be added to a children’s group order.

Do you offer offer any Special Group or Private Tours?

How do I purchase tickets?
Purchase tickets online through our website, through the Auto Show App, or onsite at one of our CASHLESS KIOSKS located inside the Javits Center. We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid long lines.
Tickets purchased online can be accessed via a mobile device or printed prior to arrival.
Duplicate copies of the same ticket will not be accepted.
I did not receive my ticket confirmation. Can you resend my tickets?
The ticket purchase confirmation email is sent from “confirmation@etix.com” or as a text to your mobile device. Please check your Spam/Junk folder or for a text message from Etix #98975.
You can also look up your ticket transaction and resend the confirmation via the Ticket Lookup service.
If you are still unable to find your order, please email us at tickets@autoshowny.com.

Name, email address, last 4 digits of your credit card.
Can I get a refund?
Auto Show ticket sales are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. However, they are transferable to friends and family.
Will tickets sell out on site?
We do not anticipate tickets selling out. Avoid waiting on a long line and purchase in advance through our website.
Do I need to print the ticket I purchased online and bring it to the show?
Printed or Mobile tickets are accepted at all entrances.
My ticket has my name on it. Can I give it to someone else to use it?
Yes. The tickets are transferable to friends and family!
Can I use the same ticket multiple times?
A ticket is valid for only ONE entry into the show. Duplicate copies will not be accepted. Attempts to use the same ticket for multiple entries will not allow access to the show.
Where is the Will Call & Information Desk located?
Will Call is located inside the Javits Center in the Crystal Palace by the 35th Street entrance.
If someone has left you tickets to the show, please provide your name and ID to obtain your tickets.
Information Desk is located on the North Concourse, near the doors to the Jeep Experience.
Is there re-entry to the show once I leave the Javits Center?
There is no re-entry into the show once you exit.
Where is the Jacob Javits Convention Center located?

The main entrance to the show is located at 35th Street & 11th Avenue. An additional entrance is located on 37th street & 11th Avenue.
Is there parking at the Javits Center?
There is NO on-site public parking available at the Javits Centers.
A limited number of parking spaces may, however, occasionally be available for attendees with a valid Parking Permit for People with Disabilities issued by a government authority. Are there any shuttle buses available?
We do not have shuttle buses, but there is Public Transportation to the Javits Center.
Is the Javits Center accessible via public transportation?
Yes, the Javits Center is accessible by public transportation.

I am traveling from outside of NY, what is the closest Airport?
The New York metropolitan area is serviced by three major airports: JFK International, Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia Airport. Travel time by taxi from the airports to midtown Manhattan varies by airport and time of day. Travel time from LaGuardia to midtown can take anywhere from 25-40 minutes. JFK can take anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour and Newark 40 to 60 minutes. (source: Javits Center – Getting Here)
Do you have wheelchairs or mobility vehicles available on show site?
Yes, the Javits Center can assist you in renting a Mobility Vehicle to use at the event. Please visit https://www.javitscenter.com/attend/accessibility/ to make your reservation.
Are strollers allowed at the show?
Yes, the NY Auto Show is a family friendly event.
Are cameras & video cameras permitted?
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, the Javits Center offers limited complimentary WiFi.
Can I bring a water bottle for my kids?
Yes. Water bottles are permitted inside the Javits Center.
Is there First Aid or a nursing station?
There is a First Aid Station on Level 1, along with paramedics that are stationed throughout the Javits Center. This room is also designated as a lactation station.
Is there a coat check?
Coat Check Service is operated by the Javits Center and is subject to availability. Please call the Javits Center at (212) 216-2000 or email moreinfo@javitscenter.com prior to travel to inquire.
Is there a place to eat?
**All concessions are operated by ‘Cultivated’ the Javits Center’s Official Food Service. **
Attendees and event staff have a variety of choices about where to eat within the Javits Center.
The food court is located on Level 1. Starbucks on Level 2, NY Bistro.
An Amazon Pantry is also located in the North Concourse.

Are there health and safety requirements?
NYC no longer requires vaccinations or face masks for Auto Show attendees. Wearing a face mask is optional.
