Ford Brings Mustang Power and Bronco Capability to the New York Auto Show
From the Mustang GTD to an award-winning Maverick, performance and utility share the spotlight.
Ford’s exhibit at the 2026 New York International Auto Show brings together high-performance Mustangs, off-road-ready Broncos, and the Maverick — a compact pickup that has earned broad recognition across the industry.
Leading the display is the Mustang GTD, Ford’s most extreme street-legal Mustang to date. With race-inspired engineering and aggressive aerodynamics, it represents the outer edge of Mustang performance.
Joining it is the 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC (Supercharged), powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 expected to deliver more than 700 horsepower. It adds another serious performance option to the Mustang lineup, sitting between the Dark Horse and the ultra-exclusive GTD.

Off-road capability is represented by the Bronco RTR, built with a focus on trail performance and distinctive styling, along with a Bronco Search & Rescue vehicle that showcases the SUV’s durability in demanding environments.
Rounding out the exhibit is the Ford Maverick, the compact pickup that has earned major industry recognition, including Car and Driver 10Best, North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year, and MotorTrend’s Truck of the Year honors.
Together, the lineup reflects the range of Ford’s current offerings, from track-ready sports cars to off-road SUVs and practical trucks.
